Wedding Chair FAQs

Do you set up the chairs?

We do suggest that you get us to set up the chairs for you. There is a small labour charge attached to do so. Typically, on the wedding day you won’t have time to set up, nor do you want family and friends doing this for you. If the venue is willing to set up the chairs for you at the reception, this is fine, but in other circumstances we advise that you use our staff if it’s an outdoor ceremony or a reception where the venue is not willing to offer staff to help.

My ceremony is in a park but we only have a booking for a couple of hours. Can you deliver?

Yes, we typically arrive approximately 1 hour prior to set up. Once complete, our team then wait in a nearby location off-site and return as soon as the ceremony is completed and guests have left.

Same-day delivery and pick-up in this situation is a bit more expensive, as we need to pay staff to wait around in between and cannot do other jobs due to the risk of being late if we are held up anywhere else. Some parks charge large fines if items are not collected on time, so we ensure we wait close by and can pack down exactly on time when you finish.

How much does it cost to hire wedding chairs?

Our cheapest chairs start from $6, and our most expensive chairs are $15, depending on the style you go for.

Can the chairs be used outdoors?

Yes, most of our chairs are weatherproof and have leather cushions that can easily be wiped down if they get wet. A few of our upholstered chairs can only be used indoors.

How far in advance do we need to book?

We always advise booking in as soon as you have a confirmed date locked in. We do keep large quantities of wedding chairs on hand, but we also get a lot of bookings, including very large ones, which can consume the stock quickly. A small deposit is required to hold them, so for peace of mind, get in early. If you have a last-minute wedding, call us and we can see if we can assist.
